Canoeing & Kayaking
This paradise of nature has special magic for those who love to canoe or kayak. There are many mapped canoe routes surrounding Elliot Lake - all well developed. The mapped routes take anywhere from two to five days to complete, or go out for the day and explore just one section of the water system.

There are over 4,000 lakes in the area and a number of fast flowing rivers - in fact, our waterways are so extensive that you can easily plan your own route. If you don't have your own equipment, you can rent it locally, and ask about having a guide.
