Economic Development Office
The City's Economic Development Office operates as a key facilitator in the process of economic diversification in partnership with City Council, community and business leaders, and community-minded residents. Staff are flexible and open to discussions about business ideas and economic development from both residents and interested business leaders from outside the community. In fact, our office's role is to facilitate the process involved in taking ideas to reality. We're here to listen, then point you in the right direction or get involved, depending on the nature of the idea. All of this is supported by a forward thinking Mayor and Council, and the community partner organizations who can get behind economic development projects to move our economy forward. We are only a phone call away, or drop by City Hall to get things started.
