Infrastructure Services Department

Infrastructure Services  are provided and administered by the City's Operations Department.  Direct services include the operation and maintenance of the City's road system  and related infrastructure such as sidewalks and curbs, stormwater drainage system, water supply and distribution system and the sanitary sewer  and  wastewater   collection system.

The Department also administers  service  contract s with regard to transit, streetlight maintenance, the collection  and disposal of residential waste, the collection and processing of recyclable material and the operation and maintenance of the municipal landfill.   The  operation of the municipal  airport  also falls under the jurisdiction of the department.

The  department's administrative and operations staff  include the Director of Operations, the Assistant Director of Operations - Public Works Sector and the Engineering Consultant who work out of the Public Works Office located at 3 Timber Road.
