One discovers quite quickly, after living in Elliot Lake, that we truly have the best of both worlds.  Elliot Lake offers a complete inventory of recreational opportunities and amenities that one would expect in a much larger city in the comfort and safety of a smaller community - no traffic, no lineups or crowds, and the beauty of nature ever present in our backyards. I encourage residents and visitors  to take full advantage of the leisure facilities and programs offered in our community. Whether your interests are participating in a program at the municipal pool and gym complex, enjoying one of our many parks or sports fields or taking advantage of the myriad of trails within our boundaries, one will find whatever recreational pursuit they desire in Elliot Lake.
