Senior's DanceElliot Lake offers all of its citizens and visitors a perfect lifestyle in an unmatched natural environment ideal for those seeking leisure and relaxation. Collins Centre has daily year-round indoor walking program from 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. and 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.  This program is free and everyone is invited to attend.

Senior's HikingThere are many senior's clubs and activities that are amiable for both English and French speaking residents. The Renaissance Seniors' Centre for instance, is open every day of the week and offers a wealth of different leisure activities. Our Community Centre and municipal swimming pool also offer seniors' programs.  For the artistically inclined or those who wish to dabble in the arts as a hobby, Elliot Lake has a thriving artistic and cultural community. Primarily housed in the Elliot Lake Civic Centre, retirees have the luxury of choosing what type of artistic or cultural endeavour from a long list. Elliot Lake residents can practice hands on pottery, quilting and weaving, performing on stage or simply view and purchase paintings and other art.

For those who have a lifelong interest in learning, the introduction of the Senior's Decoy
Institute for Learning in Retirement has been a welcome addition. With
modest fees and no compulsory attendance, examinations or academic requirements to participate, students of all ages can attend workshops at their own pace. A wide range of courses are offered at the Institute, for more information on what is available visit learning in retirement .

The local French high school offers special programs for retirees "en français" for a nominal fee. Courses offered include, French as a Second Language, Computers, Art, and Woodworking.
