Elliot Lake is easily accessible via HWY 17 East or West, then look for signs for Elliot Lake - HWY 108 North and/or Mount Dufour Ski Hill. Elliot Lake's downtown core is just 30 kms (18 miles) north along Hwy 108.
Making your way to us on sled from Michigan is easy. Take the ferry at Detour, Michigan across to Drummond Island. Once you are on Drummond Island make your way across the well-traveled D106 water crossing. Proceed east from Thessalon on the Top D Trail to Blind River and take the D105 trail heading north into Elliot Lake or proceed to Spragge and start heading north on the D108 trail that will take you right into Elliot Lake. Either way you will be riding on some of the best trail systems in Ontario.

Once you are in Elliot Lake you can enjoy day trips, overnight excursions or chose one of the loops popular with visiting snowmobilers.

Travel from Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury,
Manitoulin Island is just a short ride away via the D105 water crossing.
Begin one of your own four or seven day loops by heading north to Chapleau, just 180 miles/280km north of Elliot Lake via the main Top F Trail.

From Chapleau take the C101F trail to Timmins

For our southern neighbors, Elliot Lake is easily accessible by road via HWY 69 North and HWY 17 West. We are just a six hour drive from Toronto, a four hour drive from Parry Sound and less than two hours from Sudbury.
