Elliot Lake in the winter is a snowshoers dream come true. We have countless trails for snowshoers of all skill levels within the city that are signed, many with rest areas, all of which offer great views, pristine air and an experience you won’t soon forget.

Besides the official trails, adventurous snowshoers have the luxury of choice in the region to explore the back-country and our thousands of lakes and bluffs. It’s as simple as grabbing a map and a compass, parking the car and getting out into the crisp air and wilderness of Northern Ontario.
