The City operates 2 supervised beaches on the shores of Elliot Lake. Both are just a short walk from the city centre and offer picnic areas, washrooms and playgrounds for kids. There are even nature trails that link the beaches with other parks and the Elliot Lake municipal boat launch.

If you want some added privacy, we have countless natural sandy beaches on our numerous inland lakes throughout this area. Although we can’t count them all, our Welcome Centre staff can direct you to your own personal beach, ready for a private picnic and swim.
